This particular job encompassed removing and disposing of all old roofing materials, inspecting and repairing roof sheathing as necessary, and installing new synthetic roof underlayment. The team also inspected and repaired or replaced roof flashing and installed new pipe boot flanges before laying down the new roofing. The project concluded with a thorough clean-up of the work area.
In addition to the main roofing work, the project included specific repairs funded by an insurance claim. This phase involved the same comprehensive roofing process: removing old materials, inspecting and repairing roof sheathing, installing synthetic underlayment, repairing or replacing flashing, installing new pipe boot flanges, and completing the roofing installation, followed by clean-up.
Moreover, Terrell Roofing addressed significant structural damage to the soffit, fascia, and gutter systems caused by a fallen tree. This included demolishing the damaged roof section, inspecting and rebuilding up to eight rafters, resetting the top of the wall, replacing roof sheathing in the damaged area, and rebuilding the soffit box framing. The team also installed new 1×6 wooden fascia and new 3/8 CDX plywood soffit, repaired the brick pocket freeze board, and primed and painted 40 linear feet of soffit, fascia, and freeze board to restore the structure’s integrity and appearance.
Additionally, the project included drywall repairs inside the home, necessitated by the tree damage. The team removed and replaced the damaged drywall, scraped off all old ceiling texture, finished the seams of the replaced drywall, and primed and painted all new drywall surfaces.
