Terrell Roofing recently completed a comprehensive roofing project on a residential property in Gurley, Alabama. The project involved building a new roof system over an existing flat roof, rebuilding the porch, and replacing the shingle roof with premium materials to enhance durability and aesthetic appeal.

The team began by constructing a new roof system over the existing flat roof, following a detailed plan discussed with the homeowner. This new structure provided a robust foundation for the subsequent roofing work. In addition to the roof system, Terrell Roofing also undertook the task of rebuilding the porch, ensuring it was structurally sound and visually cohesive with the rest of the property.

The primary focus of the project was the complete replacement of the shingle roof. This involved removing the old shingles and replacing them with high-definition architectural shingles, known for their durability and aesthetic appeal. The project also included the installation of new starter strip shingles, ridge cap shingles, and synthetic underlayment. All pipe boots and collars were replaced, and ice and water shields were installed in all valleys to prevent water damage.

As part of the service, the homeowner received several complimentary upgrades, including synthetic underlayment across the entire roof and a Cobra Ridge Vent Roof Ventilation System to enhance airflow and extend the roof’s lifespan. Additionally, two sheets of plywood were provided at no extra charge, and seven pieces of plywood were replaced as needed.

Overall, Terrell Roofing’s meticulous approach and use of high-quality materials ensured the completion of a durable, visually appealing roofing system that significantly improved the home’s functionality and value.
